The part with Mod Content, you're referring to a tag system, right? I'd guess that's what it's called. I've seen it on a few websites and I think it'd be a good idea. That way searchers could exclude the tags for things they don't want.

Basically, yes, that is pretty much what I'm talking about. You would be able to tag the post with the content 'warnings' so that everyone would know what they were getting into before they opened the thread, etc.

All games that have the ability to add someones fetish to it, the mod will be made. no matter the game and no matter how repulsed the fetish make anyone. There are loli fucking mods for the sims, there are loli and bestiality mods for skyrim and oblivion. None of which are hosted by the devs, they are openly shared elsewhere by like-minded pervs. No genre is exempt from the perversions of the individual. If you find it morally reprehensible, don't add that particular mod to your game. How simple a solution is that?
All I'm saying is this game (XSP), is going to use stories and characters that borderline taboo for some people, but generally appeal to all horny people who enjoy a good clean dirty game. The point was not that it should not be possible through modding, but that it keeps the X Moon Productions from getting a bad name. Any adult porn oriented game will be met with consternation. Don't give anyone a reason to attack it for being beyond what is available as far as taboo is concerned. I mean hell, Hillary Clinton went after Skyrim because of a nude "mod". The developers made it possible so that was enough to attack the game. Do any of the gamers think Skyrim went over the line? Nope. It would be bad if the world was up in arms about a game that was some kind of haven for child molesters or something. That would only hurt the game and the company.

Understandable. but Hillary got no where with her efforts besides informing a few million more people that skyrim exists, and she didn't get anywhere for the same reason Nintendo failed in their attempts to sue Mojang over a mini-golf mod for Minecraft. Because you can't hold a company responsible to something they didn't make and do not hold the rights to. Also on the "safe haven for child molesters" thing, that is a valid concern. When it comes to mods like that if they ever exist, the forum moderator has control over what is allowed to be hosted here and what is not. If they come across a mod they don't want associated with their game for any reason they can remove it from the site and tell the uploader not to post it here. As is their right and responsibility. What that person does with it from there has nothing to do with the games creators nor can they be held responsible. There is no such thing as "bad press" with a game like this. As long as its a good working game any ill-intentioned campaigns to have it removed from the world will only inform those who wish to play it that it exists. If you don't believe me, look at rapelay, 90% of the people who bought it had no idea it existed until the media ran the story. it's that "bad press" that made illusion the successful company hey are today. When your in a "dirty" industry, having people point you out and say "they're selling filth!" can't hurt you, it's a compliment and will only make you stronger.
