Yes, in theory you could make your own story, bus this would involve a lot of work (also modelling). Changing elements of the existing stories and changing character responses will be more realistic at first instance.

Parts of the current stories were hard-coded so we are now putting everything in script files.
We will not have a very fancy gui for creating stories. Basically what you will need is a text editor for the scripts.
For making models you will need Maya 9 (Autodesk). Later on we will add support for Maya 2014.
Autodesk offers trial edition for Maya, so everyone can edit/make models (in theory).
You could do things like:
- Add playlists to tv, scenes
- Customize character responses
- Add sounds to character
- Make models
- etc etc
We want to use the forum as a place where people can upload their own customisations. So others can download them and try them.
Content will be non-binary (so no need to worry about virusses). This!! A 100 times this! Sounds awesome and in my opinion a much needed feature
