is it possible to change the 3d model of monica or saiko with mudbox of maya and then play with the changed 3d models ingame?

Because of the licence for the models they are encrypted. Some things can be changed but not the mesh I believe.

I believe this tut is old and the body is used in .obj format for clothing. I browsed the 3.5 tutorial files and they seem to include the body meshes in .ma format. Admin can confirm or say if I am wrong. I am not sure, I just opened and closed the Monica file.

I am trying to get familiar with this also but whenewer I use use filemaker with the provided Start.ini in the "/3.AdvancedModding/5.character_packs/" folder to convert the .ma models to obj I got this error message logged in the "fm_log.txt"
"Cannot convert maya file '../pack/pack_character/sources/scenes/character6/body.ma' : Filename 'c:/users/xnamex/appdata/local/x moon productions/xstoryplayer 3.5/pack/pack_character/sources/scenes/textures/character6/hair1.png', should start with srcPath 'e:/something/xstoryplayer 3.5/pack/pack_character/sources/', in file 'start.ini' at line 33"
I got this error only with the character6 if i try to run it with only the character7 body.ma that can be converted properly.
BTW I don't have user profile created with this name (xnamex) on my PC.

I will re-upload the resource pack. You are correct the paths are not set correctly for the character files.
