since I had no time to make a new texture from "scratch" today (for panty). I played with bra colors and went with this. I don't know if somebody will like it, it's nice but could be really better. (and I have no idea and no time to improve it, sorry). install instructions : replace existing "plugin\LMR Lingerie 01\textures\lmr_bra_01_01_png.dds" with this one (rename it (02 to 01), and make a backup of original file). since there's a bug in plugin management, I can't provide a plugin using more than one texture at a time. (xpadmin, if you read this: is this bug on debug route ? ^^ ) download here

Could it be even easier, if you had sewing patterns - example - to start with? There should be a few of them available free of charge on the interwebz... Oh, and when looking for an example, I came up with a page with free graphic patterns, too... might be nice for the texturing part ---> The Pattern LibraryAre you talking about UV mapping ? or texturing ? (sorry, since my english is not perfect I can misunderstand when it's ambiguous (for me)) sewing patterns - the ones that usually are printed out on paper, then used to cut cloth for clothes - for the UV maps? If there is a way to import them, of course... And the link to the Pattern Library might be usefull for making textures...

Those won't make good UV maps, without some adjustments. The seams on clothes are meant to overlap, for starters.

Those won't make good UV maps, without some adjustments. The seams on clothes are meant to overlap, for starters. but seams on real clothes are placed where they are less visible, and we are used to see seams at those place. if the UV are not perfect to make a uniform texture and have an "invisible" seam, we can still draw a "real" cloth seam on the texture. the resulting effect will not be "hey there is a join here", but "cloth seams is here" . for skin texture, of course, it's another story.

laissemoirire wrote: (xpadmin, if you read this: is this bug on debug route ? ^^ ) Nice texturing. We will not release a Beta-version before version 3.1 because keeping track of two versions (the Beta version and the next release 3.1 version) has become to much work. So the bug has been fixed and will be part of the version 3.1. But for now you will need separate plugin directories for the cloth.

I love the pink! Sadly my bra is staying black after copying the new texture and renaming. Thoughts?

Thoughts? 01_01 (twice) in the texture filename ? lmr_bra_01_01_png.dds my naming convention is modder_clothtype_modelnumber.obj and modder_clothtype_modelnumber_texturenumber_png.dds ps : I'll try it on another computer to see if I've missed something.
