I found this game through looking for Rift games. I owned a DevKit and have ordered a DK2 on the first day it was announced. Adding Rift support is a HUGE marketing tool, letting the rabbid Rift fans (like myself) do the work for you.

Yes I also have some mixed feelings about this takeover.
The last party I expected to buy the OR was facebook, but they seem to be buying everything these days (or google).
If the development sdk license will become very expensive this would be a problem for us (at this stage).
So I hope things will work out for the best.

Investing into a new technology that has gotten more and more hype as it's being developed can really pay off. So, as investors, they made the correct move. I just hope that they stay out of the development and allow the current devs to build it as they envisioned it.

Yes, it could give the development a great boost. And if the OR becomes a product accepted by a lot of consumers that would be great. We will see how it works out.

Hello, i have just one simple question. According to this thread not so many people want Razer Hydra to be implemented. Do you plan adding Razer Hydra into game? If not would it be possible to "mod-add" it ?
