04 - Female Dialogue and Better Timing

The chat system is an idea that I've been thinking about too, for a long time, as a game developer. So, I think it's a good one. But I fear this game will suffer from Elder Scrolls Syndrome.
"Well, wtf does that mean?"
In Elder Scrolls Oblivion, and Skyrim (open-world video games...) each time you pass someone they say "Something". Or even if you stand still, they will occassionally say "something" at random, then eventually repeat things they've already said.
This is referring to timing. Relevance is one of the major keys to timing.... If my penis is in a chick's mouth and she says "NO DONT FILL MY PUSSY" well, that's sort of odd, isnt it?
Next is -- They shouldn't say things just for the sake of saying them. It's robotic. I would rather them just stay quiet until something is going on. And if nothing happens? they should wonder what's happening, and become less excited, as that's how it would work in the real world.
I can stand with my penis inside someone for 5 minutes, without moving, and have some chick say "YEAH RAM IT IN ME" with the same excitement she had at the heat of the moment.
Now for dialogue. -- If you guys don't take dialogue seriously, its definitely going to ruin the immersion for the game. Not saying you arent taking it seriously now, but if it were me? I would go as far as hiring (or at least consulting) females to see what they would and would not say, because "corny" dialogue is a massive downer.

I'm sure dialogue and timing is pretty high up on the list of priorities, however spending any amount of resources consulting a female for this game would be idiotic. A man can just as well observe natural reactions and report the findings. That doesn't need any allocation of resources.
However, I believe there's a very slight language barrier. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't believe the dev team's native language is English. Coming up with interesting and realistic dialogue in English isn't something most native English speakers can do.
I think dialogue would be best adopted from chosen user-created content. If they're opening up the ability to add custom dialogue, I don't see any reason not to add top quality custom dialogue to the actual game.

It should and does. But there's a lot to add and no one wants to wait for ever. It's been about 9 months since I came upon this game and there hasn't been an update yet. I'm by no means complaining, because I know these things take time. However, we should be realistic with our expectations. Especially from a very small independent adult game company. This is an adult video game, not a scholarly resource in the making. I'd be upset if time and money were spent looking into something as trivial as realistic sexual dialogue. Especially when it's being opened up to modding. In other words, you would be upset if time/money were spent improving a crucial element of this game. Do you play games while blindfolded? Or is this perhaps the first game you've ever played?

I think that the more crucial elements of this game would be what they're working on now. More realistic responses to physical encounters, more realistic animations, such as idle movements (standing like a statue constantly is odd) and then branching into new story lines, extra girls and new locations. Also consider a lot, and I mean a LOT of time is going into the new engine which will support some of what I've mentioned as well as modding. Those would be the very top of my priority list as well.
I do agree that dialogue is important, however the other items I've listed have been voted to be more important than others by the general community here. I'm sure these things will be worked out eventually, at the right time.
As for consulting women about how they would respond to certain things, I feel this is an unnecessary step. Any adult who has had sex would be able to tell what a realistic response would be. At least to that partner. Porn of any media can help if one needed reference. There are plenty of written documentation for free of sex stories, written by females, that could shed some light on anything that would confuse.
I'm also pretty sure Tobz was right about the dev team's native language. I've found certain flaws in places, but it's not overly distracting.

Never said there weren't more important things to deal with. Never said that anyone had to go and talk to people personally. Only said that's what "I" would do, because if I'm going to implement a feature, it's going to be legit. And if this feature is just thrown into the game, all unceremonious-like, it "WILL", without a doubt, deal a significant blow to the overall immersion in the game. Does this make it top priority? No... Simply makes it significant enough to add to their lists of major fixes, as this is a big enough issue to kill the game.

Dude, if modding is enabled and you don't like the dialog, you can just fix it yourself. Or if your English isn't too good either, just wait for one of the other users to do it. That's why it's not a big deal - not because it's not important, but because it's trivial for the community to sort out.
