3.5 came out last August, so it's been about 2 months since an update.

I realise that each update is a lot of work and requires a lot of time, but looking at the last one, even if it is absolutely true that a lot of work has been done and there are lots of improvements, it feels like, from a player's point of view, I was only given a few extra hours of gameplay, know what I mean?

I'm not saying you were or are are wrong in developing the game like you do, I'm just trying to say that it feels like I wait and wait, play a few hours with new version, then wait and wait and wait and wait some more, only to have another 5-6 hours of gameplay at the most.

I tried some of the mods but a) there really aren't many, b) some are too weird for my taste (I don't like to play rape, even if it's a game only), c) some keep crashing (like the love party 0.4) and d they don't really bring anything new in terms of gameplay, just esthetics and sometimes a new position.

I hope your company isn't dying out like so many small teams with great ideas but little funding.

So yeah, is there any news from anywhere about any kind of update for the game (whatever version)?

Next version 4.0 will be a big step forward. But it will mean a longer wait.

So you have to keep yourself busy with the dungeon gameplay, and it is also fun to try out the mods available on the forum.
