I really have to recommend to you , to get a devolpment kit and integrate Oculus Rift and Razer Hydra Support for XStoryPlayer , you know why ? It would not only enhance the game experience immensly BUT it would get you thousands of customers. Even in this early stage all the owners of the Devkits would love to try out an adult game with Oculus Rift.
This is your chance to get attention to be the first adult game with Oculus Rift support and you would get many customers. Please think about this.

Oculus Rift support for XStoryPlayer would indeed be amazing! Actually, some adult game developers are already jumping in VR pool: http://www.somasex.com/index.php/j-stuff/latest-newshttp://www.wickedparadise.com/(hope it's ok, to post those links) And here's an article about the latest support from Valve (Half Life 2): http://www.pcgamesn.com/half-life-2-ocu ... incredibleI really hope XStory developers will consider supporting Oculus Rift (especially because it's quite easy to implement it).

I have full intentions of getting one of these when the consumer version comes out and I would like to see xstoryplayer have compatibility with it. I'm still okay with a mouse, but it's certainly something to consider as an option.

I couldn't wait, so I ordered developer kit I'm still waiting to receive it, however reading great experiences everyone are getting with the Rift is mindblowing. The potential of adult games in VR is immense. I read lots of comments how looking at 3d characters in rift adds a sense of real solid person standing in front of you (even in their low-poly (or even cartoony, TeamFortres2 style) versions), to the point, you feel the need for "personal space". Amazing.

What's the aspect ratio of this device? most videos I've seen looks like 4:3, or does it even matter when the screen is on your face?
edit: holy mother! just saw your vimeo link, incredible.

It doesn't matter. What you watch inside the rift are binocular circles and they pretty much fill up your entire vision. That's the magic of the Rift. The world you see through binoculars (when done right) have the same proportions and field of view as the real world. EDIT: Maaaaan, the guy from Vimeo link above has a new video. A must see! https://vimeo.com/65964328

In their description video on their site, the Oculus Rift doesn't really have a screen in the sense of looking at a monitor. You get a diagonal view of 110 degrees, which is pretty much what you get in the real world. It's like you're not looking at a screen.
I just hope it's going to live up to the hype. I really do. Because this type of thing, made affordable to the average user, could go a long, long way. Not just for video games but for bomb squads, medical devices, and so forth.
I wouldn't mind seeing someone use this in the Robot Combat League. :p It'd certainly give the user a better view.
