each major version is planned to bring a new story lane.
So you should have to wait for 5.0 to get thoses two stories

I don't think that's how it works, those are the two stories from the previous release. As far as I can tell the current plan is for them to be added into 3.x with the new improvements (or at least, that's what the story menu seems to suggest).

Correction, 3.0 Pre-Released. Full version of the new story and such come in the new year. We've basically got access to a beta for the moment.
