I was thinking about that; there wouldn't be much sanding needed, but it's a rather small model and it's hard to paint little details (for example her eyes) I painted other prints and always thought they were looking nicer unpainted after the job was done but maybe thats just me sucking at painting ![]() |

The smaller ones were a real pita, especially as quite a few were needed... like... 200 or so. Those miniatures were made from a lead/tin mixture and I used acrylic paint for the job. Took a bit of training to get it done right and it helped to know a couple tricks to achieve certain effects. Stuff like applying a white base colour first, then use a heavily thinned dark brown over the whole figure, which settles in the nooks and crannies, so when you apply the skin's colour after it, these nooks and crannies stay a bit darker and are therefor more apparent... I bet there are guides for painting miniatures on the interwebz - and to quote some US president: U can do it! |
