You know what, disregard everything I've said so far, because this video represents the pinnacle of Three-Dimensional Art and should be used for XStoryPlayer.

I really like this guy's style, does it look like it would translate well into 3D? http://www.hentai-foundry.com/pictures/ ... -The-ThiefEDIT: Sorry for the double post, meant to hit edit.

Very nice cartoon (also nice story collection).
It would be possible to create cartoon shaders, that make 3d objects look somewhat like this style. But to get it as good will not be easy.

I'm not really the biggest fan of her's, but I feel obliged to inform peeps here that over on DigitalEro, someone is making a Jessica Rabbit. Attachment:

And the best part is that because she's a cartoon who can walk around in the real world, we don't have to worry about her looking out of place.

I've been looking at some anime styles later. If a modder does decide to go an anime route, I hope that they pick one of two styles. The style of Satoshi Urushihara, who likes to imply that almost all women like to dye their hair: Attachment:

Or the style of Shirow Masamune, who likes to imply that almost all are ripped: Attachment:

I have no idea where this is from, but it seems someone actually made a 3D furry that looks good. (File too big to attached to this forum)
(link removed due to the post in question being deleted from that forum for some reason.)

Once that page loaded, the Mario pic was the one that my screen decided to center on... what a lovely surprise. I did see the picture you were referring to though... after the subject of tonight's nightmares was shoved in my face.

Okay, for some reason, clicking on that forum link the first time makes it mess itself up. Clicking on it the second time however gets you the post that I actually linked to. But seeing as that is a hassle, I've gone ahead and converted the gif in question to a webM video and put that video in the attached zip file below. It's in a zip file because this board won't allow me to upload a webM file directly.
