I have a strange problem - I cannot load my old saved games anymore, they appear greyed out in the story selector (3.5). Not even those downloaded via account manager work... When I begin a new game and save from there, it's ok but I really don't want to start all over again...
I checked the files and noticed that new saves are all readable text files, while all older ones are full of gibberish. But it's not a problem with just a few corrupted files - it's all of them, even if freshly downloaded? What am I doing wrong?

ok, found the problem. Apparently one Mod has modified some parameters in the settings.ini to DEBUG which resulted in save files in plain text. Switched back to NONE and it's all back.
