Hello, bought XSP today.

As the title says, I installed 3.5 without any issues. After that, I wanted to install the patch which got me the following error:

"Error opening file for writing:

C:/Users/XXXXXX/AppData/local/ .. etc .. /xstoryplayer.exe"

Doesn't matter if I try via Account Manager or manually "open as admin".

Windows 7 Home Premium 64
Core i7-4790
GTX 970


The other thing, since a quick look didn't get me results:
I finished the Tentacle Dreams story including the message which says I can now access Fast Sex, but I can't. Restart didn't help.

Just a couple ideas:
-Make sure you got the game closed when trying to update / make sure xstoryplayer.exe isn't open in task manager
-Did you check if that path actually exists?
-Do you have any special characters in your username?

Yep, there actually was a .exe of ~100 kb still open in task manager.
Both issues fixed now, thanks man.
