Trouble downloading 3.5

I've been trying since it released to download it but the download is really slow, taking many hours, only to stall at an arbitrary percentage along the way each time. I was working with support but they insist that it's something on my end. If it is I have no control over it and cannot update my game. I've turned everything on and off again. I've checked my connection. I'm downloading everything else fine and speed tests show enough speed to get it in about 2-4 hours, but not 12 or more. If anyone else has had this problem or knows a way to fix it I would appreciate it.

ok, I did a test,
accountmanager dl location and forum are at the same adress. where are you living ? try a trace route to see if there is lag somewhere on the network between you and server. => press Windows key + R type : cmd click : ok then in the black screen console, type : tracert http://www.xmoonproductions.org enter, wait... you can copy/paste the result here. - right click -> select - left click and drag to select text - enter to copy |

I checked the server log just in case, but I could not see any errors that may be related to slow connection. A few questions: Do you get a specific error after downloading a while? Do you have a firewall and/or virus-scanner that may be causing slowdown of download? Do you only have issues downloading version 3.5 and not e.g. version 3.0? Do the patches download faster or at the same speed? |

Everything seems to be downloading faster now. It should be done in maybe an hour or two, if it doesn't hang. I did get the error once that there was an error with my internet connection. It only happened once out all the times I tried to download.

It only happened once out all the times I tried to download. indeed 150-250ms to hit your own ISP is the bit slow, but you know why  the rest of the route is not that slow since your packets are traveling to europe. at the time the downloads were slow, does the forum was slow too ? |

I can't (re)download setup35 or anything else ATM I got the message : "Server is currently too busy to fulfill your download request, please try again later." |
