The only tacticts, I found out, that works:

Best tactic i found was to save the game (Copy your game folder, i think its just the data folder but i just did the whole game folder)
then find a nest with an egg in it and land your ship so the ramp is as close to the nest as possible.

Run to the nest grab the egg and PRAY that the docking ramp is touching the ground and the spiders are not mounting your ship too much.
Back to the pilot seat and GTFO.

If anything bad happens just copy the Data folder and try again.

Trying to run across the moon is annoying as they have massive lockon range and are faster then you.
Unsure if you can jetpack holding the egg yet but when i tried you could not.

That's right Eskarn. I did the same, I landed the ship with its nose to the cocoon, there was a cocoon with eggs nearby. The spiders became dumb and couldn't get between the cocoons. And they also couldn't break my ship. I calmly went for all 3 eggs. The only thing is that I didn't think to save the game that way .

So, Ive just took an egg, and run as fast as I can, couple of times that spiders catch me, but I starts again. The bad thing, yhat Ive lost my ship every time, and the mission became "Find the ship".
