Honestly, they were the two most obvious choices I could think of to show any kind of metric for adult game sales since such places aren't all that common, which is I realise sort of the point you're making, and hopefully this game will be extremely successful. I'm just pretty cynical about most adult fare that gets produced nowadays, since the majority of it rarely reaches a high degree of quality/completion unfortunately.

Also, to clarify, a large part of my point was more 'don't think that the developers are rolling in cash and they're not working on the game because they're lazy asses'. It's probably much more likely (and supported by evidence most of the time) that the largest proportion of adult game developers have other day jobs to pay their bills. I think the most common patreon goal #1 is 'Make this a full time job!'

XPAdmin, I don't think getting money from a venture capitalist will be any better than Patreon in regards of long development times (read: usually they want their ROI asap and there will be pressure, too)

I do believe you would get more sales for the current version if you would do something for your google ranking, like putting more descriptive text on the website (although I think your website design is pretty good) A more search term related website name would also help, even if it's just a DNS forwarder.
Try to get on all those VR sex game lists that usually show up as first results.
Having Facebook and G+ pages would probably help, even though it wouldn't work for me.

I still think normal people won't find this game even with pretty specific google queries. I'm pretty sure most other people here also just discovered it by accident (?)
Like, I'm pretty sure I went through multiple pages of google results for "VR sex game" or "oculus xxx game" and the like, and xmoon wouldn't show up.

That all said, I like how you devote your time to this and set a long term goal, and people should appreciate that more and bitch less
