This is insane! I've been dreaming about this day... for years have I searched for a game that comes close to the potential of XSP, and I've found some great little games for sure but no worthy contender yet. Seeing this update gives me hope. I thought we were forever left in the dark. Now perhaps not? Do we dare wish for an update? Too soon to tell I guess, but man oh man....... exciting times!

Lol. If someone said to me back in 2016 that GTA 6 would be released before XStoryPlayer 4, I would literally think they were on meth. I honestly don't know now. Mental

It feels like they skipped XStoryPlayer 4... 3 i don't remember what version and added a lot more features.

Every now and then, usually about once a month or so, I check back here with hopes that my greatest (digital) wish is about to materialize... or at least show signs of life... only to be disappointed once more.

I spend about an hour a week browsing through F95, Patreon and Steam in search for other games that look as promising as X Story Player. I've tried about a hundred different ones at this point, and while many show great promise and potential, none has given me the same satisfaction and playability as XSP to date. Sure, many games beat it in terms of either graphics, physics or freedom, but not a single one manages to combine them to a adequate level while also having amazing gameplay. Which is rather sad.

DEV - please don't stop making this game! Even if attendance here on the forum is spotty at best, there are LOTS of people out there who would LOVE to see this game being developed further. Maybe start a Patreon page to earn an income from it? You can definitely count on My monthly contribution. Or if you don't intend to keep working on it, perhaps hand it over to someone else qualified to keep it going?

Either way, thanks for a fantastic game.

Waaauw an actual update or a sneakpeak to whats next? Ive been hoping for a chance to fully play this game again!!
