Usage instructions:

Extract the pack_tentacle_dreams.bin file using your preferred method
Extract the contents of the tentacle_dreams_ex.zip file into your XStoryPlayer 3 folder
Start the game
Click on Stories
Select the Tentacle Dreams Ex story
Select the scene that you want to play
Click on Apply

Notes:

Try getting your penis out when Saiko is stood at the door
To view Monica's new scene, start the game from the 6th icon from the left (Medium size creature on floor), then visit the conference room
Situations where puppet mode currently works, Saiko on the toilet, Saiko asleep on the bed, Monica on the conference room table, Monica asleep on the sofa

Are there any particular instructions I need to follow to unpack the tentacle dreams bin? Or just I just fiddle with the file = "[RUNTIME]pack/pack_dungeon.bin" line in the start.ini file and that's it?

I use XSP Quick Packer/Unpacker v1.2 myself, because it saves having to mess about with the start.ini file.

Edit: Just remembered that method won't work since you're running Windows XP, so here's a pre-modified start.ini file.

extract either of your files to the unpacked folder
repack Pack_tentacle_dreams
Run game in story mode (Saiko at the door)

nada...

I'll keep playing with it though. Maybe I'll get it to work right...

Skip the repacking step, then it should work. The game doesn't seem to like it when you have your mods in .bin files rather than folders.

What's the second file you've put up for?

Do you need to restart the whole storyline to get it working?

Hopefully these steps will work for you.

Extract the pack_tentacle_dreams.bin file using your preferred method
Extract the can_touch_this.zip file
Copy the contents of the zip file to your pack_tentacle_dreams folder
Choose to overwrite the identically named files when asked
Start the game
Click on Stories
Select the second Tentacle Dreams story in the list

Notes.

You don't need the can_touch_this_diff.zip file to use the mod
Don't repack the pack_tentacle_dreams folder because the mod won't work.

sorry. it can't find the edited unpacked folders. it only looks to the original .bin.
