Unfortunately I can not use this story.
I see this in the stories, but when launching the screen goes black and I go back to the desktop.

That's probably because he hasn't updated it to the latest version of XSP. If you just got the game recently, you most likely have the latest version.

Temporary the older version 3 can be downloaded using the account-manager.

So best is to use that version for older mods.

With the temp version 3 was the beta patch applied to this or is it just the stock version 3?

I updated to 3.5 a month ago.

However I try to do the downoload and try installing the patch.

Then ... what can I try?
The new story runs out too quickly... :(

Download XStoryPlayer 3.0 and install the mod under 3.0, not 3.5.
Do not apply any patch to XStoryPlayer 3.0. (patches are for 3.5)

Since this mod was never intended to run with the basic version it did require the beta patch but i have updated it so the story will progress without it just re download it
or replace this file

pack_EskDocStory\init\story\doctors\saiko\brain Srun.dat

There are still a few crashing parts to do with saiko leaving the scene but nothing i can do about that

This mod will be updated once i have finished with the current mod

But for now its playable with version 3

This mod will ONLY work with the older version 3, It will NOT work with version 3.5
