I get the same error in my trace file:

Trace: ERROR: Verify failed in file '.\app\story\cl_app_story_func.cpp', line 277: Error

Tried on a fresh install, with patch 1 and with patch 2, all 3 installs result in the same error

Please delete the modding pack save files. When a pack changes the save files are sometimes corrupted.

Let me know if that solves it.

=========================

For pack makers to avoid this, update the version in the story descriptor. This will prevent save files getting corrupted.

Nope, no change. All the other mods I've tried have worked fine, just that same error on this one.

I love this mod a lot, but when I try to get them to use the stocks, they fall backward and don't actually get into them. Do you have to pick them up to put them into them, or are they supposed to lean into them like usual.

You have to grab them... just position yourself on the other side of the stocks and when they start to raise their arms grab the head and pull them to you...

Please send the trace.txt file to us here. So we can look into why this error occurs.

My issue ended up being a version mismatch because of multiple installations.

I had a new pristine installation all patched up, and an older installation I'd intended to use as a mod test bed so I could really mess around and not have to worry about breaking the basic install. Long story short, the patches did not like having multiple installations and patch 1 would always patch the 1st installation, patch 2 would always patch the "latest" installation (aka the test bed) and never the two should meet.

So I hosed both, reinstalled, repatched, and just copied the freshly patched install over manually to a "backup" directory in case modding actually broke the install at some point. It's all good now.

Big thanks to Admin for noticing the version of the trace I sent in, I blew right past that looking for the error code at the bottom, because I "knew" I'd patched up. :)
