Forget the mats, and the wargaming add-ons. The AR add on lenses and wand will let ya swing at models displayed like a holoprojection in front of you.

I think it would be a pretty intense experience combining this with the Oculus Rift in XSP. Imagine feeling the friction on your grip as you slide a dildo into a girls pussy. Imagine feeling the resistance as you whip her tits with the crop.

I'm not sure that's good controller solution. I get too much of gimmicky vibe out of this. It will be useful for some interactions and useless for most.
In my opinion the only true VR controller will be haptic gloves. Only solution like this will give you the most natural (and thus, immersive) freedom of interaction.
