You can get Maya for free if you say you are a student.

Hey Ski, think you have to show your student pass and such no? that is the case with other software.

They do ask for where you are studying (which you can put anything) when you make an account but that's it

As Eskarn sad you can just say i study at …. as long as you dont charge for the things you do with maya it shouldnt be a problem.
