Hang on, sorry for being new here but I was under the impression when I bought the game from the main page for $9.00 I would get the v3.0 update after v2.1. Am I wrong?
Yes , you are mistaken. It is written on the F.A.Q. page in English. Translator programs are bad. I will type this for better translation. ( for Trulife )
-There is no 2.2
- 2.1 is the "base game." It is Like "the Sims" with no expansions.
-3.0 is adding "stories" and game features.
-When you buy version 2.1 . That is the only one you currently own, More "stories" cost more money.
-If any major game features are added ( such as AI updates and controller presets) you will still receive those major changes for free, Unless, They raise the price for the 3.0 version.
If they do raise the price, you only must pay the sum between the price you have paid for the 2.1 and the cost of 3.0 to receive the full 3.0
-If you have purchased the 2.1 version of the game you will pay less for the 3.0 version "stories".

What about the 30 day download limit?
Of course you can still keep playing the game after 30 days.
Any future updates that are critical you can always download, also after 30 days. So don't be afraid that you cannot download bug fixes or patches.
When a new story is released we might re-price XStoryPlayer. In this case you only have to pay for the extra story. If the price remains the same for XStoryPlayer you can also download it without extra costs.
We try to keep the price low and fair, but also want to keep making new stories, so that's why we have the 30 day download limit.

Hope that helps.
Truth is they are very likely raising the price a bit for this upcoming version. But they aren't greedy succubus corporate assholes like Ubisoft or EA, so I wouldn't worry about it much, I'm guessing the next version will cost $20-$30 for the full 3.0, so the most 2.1 users are only looking at a $21 upgrade charge for a game that's better then most $60 games on the main stream marketplace now.
