@Elfseeker
You are correct.
There is some delay due to the following reasons:
1)
The offbeatr project took longer to get started than we expected (we first needed the votes).
Also the total duration of the offbeatr project was a lot longer. After the project was finished it took about 3 months before the actual funds where transferred to us.
This resulted in some delay.
Because we did not know if the offbeatr project was going to be successful.
We did develop features during this time but not develop the stories.
2)
In general development takes longer than we had planned.
The modding element took more time then we had expected, but is is working very well now (I hope it will be worth the effort).
The modding was not really something we had planned at first to this extent.
But we felt it could not be pushed on to a next version.
Also we added a lot of smaller features like Oculus Rift support, better save-files, better scene lighting, key-bindings, new menu etc...
3)
We wanted the next version to have a lot more character movements and feedback from the characters.
We could have smoothed these features over several versions, but made the choice to add them to the next version all at once.
So I expect the releases after the next one to go smoother because they will not require a lot of new features in the game.

So the timetable has shifted by about 10 months for all the ETA's.
We will however deliver more features in next version (e.g. modding), so the next release will contain more then we had promised.
