It's been a while since I've been here.

I've seen xpadmin talk about what's in 4.0, but I don't see any screenshots of progress. I would assume that after over a year of development since 3.0, they would have something finished at least to the point of a proof of concept, but I don't see anything.

So, is everything still too heavily under development to show, or can we see some of what's in store for 4.0?

Like a Member told me, that they are heavily working on the new engine, New code stuff yada yada yada, So guess we need to stay patience.
So im looking forward to this Great Game and new Concept of that University and Customize Girl.

But even if they just do code stuff - there is no reason to not communicate with the community or not show any progress at all (exept for the fact there is no progress). They could show off AI progress, UI functionality or at least tell us what they are working on atm (even if it's just a backend system for the engine) - and this in a monthly /semi-monthly basis in a short post in the forum.

Sometimes serious progress looks like complete garbage before all the pieces are put together and things are polished. I'd rather they continue working on the engine rather than spend a lot of time making the current state look presentable in some way. It's not like you can just post a screenshot of a physics engine, either.

I didn't say they have to post screenshots of anything - I just would like to be informed about the stuff they currently working on - no need to make anything presentable.
It didn't have to be a full page write up - ~two sentences in a regular basis (monthly) would be more then enough. And if they think they got some visuals in place and ready to show they can attach some screenshots.

Once the engine is over the "low level technical" threshold a blog with progress info will be opened.

At the moment it is mostly work on shaders, deferred lighting, shadow mapping, physics core, all very low level technical stuff.

When the engine has progressed further and we get to the moment where on a more feature based level things are added, info will surely be shared.

I would like to see in this game where you type the guy reads it out loud and the girls speak out loud that would help out game play I think the games are great I play them over and over change character play as alien or a Asian it doesn't matter how you play its enjoying the scenes and the character and the quality that has been put in these games also I like to thank them for a well done job thanks team and management for creating a great game like this I never get bored playing version 2 or 3.5

The description of the 4.0 plan is far beyond what I'd been hoping to see. Very psyched.

As much as I would love to play with the 2.0 girls, I'd much rather see a customizable girl before I'd worry about that.
