Buying the game now also supports the development of the game. The update to the next version 2.2 is free so you may actually get it faster by contributing to the growth of the game .

I guess no demo soon...

There's likely not going to be a new demo until the next version is released. And that's hopefully going to be this year. From what the admin has told us, there's a lot of work to be done yet. For me, the current demo was enough to make me buy the game. And this thing has met every expectation I had of it in its current form and was worth every penny.

I agree that a release date would be nice. My suggestion figure out an approximate date and add 20% to 50% for mission creep or problems and give us that date.

They don't know the full scope of work, so any date would be the equivalent of a hostess saying it's a fifteen minute wait to be seated; it's just a made up figure.

It's certainly not dead. There was a lot going on with the offbeatr but now that they've achieved their primary goal I believe they're all busy working on bringing out the new release. I've been here a while and it tends to get quiet off and on. But don't worry. X Moon Productions won't abandon this!

The next release will be at beginning of next year.

We hope to release a version before that as well.

Ah nice! A late Christmas present from the X Moon Dev team to you fan base! From what I've been able to see of screenshots and movies the new update looks extremely promising, so just keep up the good work!
