Regarding Chrome's search history; you can always just add " -incognito" after your shortcut's target (e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" -incognito), then you'll never have to worry about a search history!!
Otherwise you can install an extension like Incognito-Filter that allows you to add sites which will then automatically open in an incognito window (not that it would have made any difference in Pickled Cow's situation).

You can tell how excited we all are just by looking at the fact that there are 6 more pages (and counting) of forum posts on this thread as opposed to the "last 17 percent" thread XD.
