What exactly do you mean with "lied to and overlooked"? As an donator / offbeatr backer you have access to the prerelease. Software development projects often take longer than expected. Not because they are lazy but because it's incredibly hard to say how long it takes. Or as the dev I work with says: "You know precisely how long it takes once you finished it"

DK2 patch will be released in about 10 days. Will this patch include a fix to the map door crash bug?

It think the current patch fixes that already.

It think the current patch fixes that already. No, the patch fixes the memory leak and the invisible furniture. The are still some map crashes. Attempting to leave the apartment through the door crashes the game. And leave this error in the trace file. Code: ERROR: Code failed in file '.\imp\pc\soundcontext\sound\sc_sound_pc.cpp', line 402: Error Attempting to leave the fast sex dungeon also crashes the game. Leaves the same error. Code: ERROR: Code failed in file '.\imp\pc\soundcontext\sound\sc_sound_pc.cpp', line 402: Error And attempting to load up the "Saiko in her Room" scene from the Tentacle Scenes section from the Fast Sex menu also crashes the game. Leaving the same error. Code: ERROR: Code failed in file '.\imp\pc\soundcontext\sound\sc_sound_pc.cpp', line 402: Error

These pop up with "original" pack.bin stories or with extracted ones? If it's the later I would suspect sound file corruption.

If it's the later I would suspect sound file corruption. This is was crash that was happening for me before the modding scene even got going. And I made sure to check both versions of the dungeon to make sure the crash was inherent. I was thinking of going ahead and doing a reinstall of version 3.0 to make sure if that was the case. I suppose the slots should freed up by now so I'm going to try redownloading the installer and see if that fixes anything.

DK2 patch will be released in about 10 days. That is awesome news Can't wait! You're okay with me sharing details of this project with other Oculus users? Or are you trying to keep a low profile?

I'm going to assume that this new installer is post patch then. I'm going uninstall 3.0 and install what I just downloaded. I'll tell you if I still run into the crashes I've been hitting.
Okay, this is interesting, XPS 3 doesn't seem to have an uninstaller...
EDIT:
Okay, it turns out that I did in fact have a bad install. Installing the 3.0 post patch installer allow me to leave the fast sex dungeon basement. I'm going to know check to see if I can leave the story mode basement now.
DOUBLE EDIT:
Okay, I can leave both basements.
