You should be able to convince Brittney to leave after you've gotten Ashley's clothes in your inventory. From that point, you will get the combination to the safe, and then get into the garage.

F*cking Frank, first time I get him - he avoids the trap. Second time I get caught in the trap as well.
I thought third time is the charm, but he glitches out after knocking out Patrick. (stuck in Fighting animation with his eyes rolled back in his head)
And when I finally get him, i find out it's just a tease XD gdmnt.

Also I accidentally locked Patrick in a fridge. He walked right into it, when the door was closing and clipped through. When I opened it, he fell out, so all good.

Is there any use for that glass under tv? And - where is the front door? How did we got inside this odd apartment? Did I missed the front door or something?

The glitch will be fixed next build. I'm glad everybody thinks Frank is so annoying because it's that much more gratifying when you actually manage to take him out. :) More content to come soon. I promise.

Interesting about the fridge thing. I'll have to try that. The drink was going to be used to electrocute Frank originally, but I opted for the shelf instead. It was accidentally left in the game.

Yes, it's not supposed to work that way but it did because Frank was bugged. I will write in code to prevent doing that in future builds. :)

Hey guys,

Just a quick update today. No new story content, but this will address the bugs that some of you have been experiencing that is making it hard to play through to the end of the storyline. Here's the change log:

Fixed a bug where Frank never stops fighting even after Patrick is knocked out.
Made the response options font a bit smaller (for smaller resolutions)
Added physics to interactive objects (you can now drop them anywhere)
Added sound effects for when some inventory objects are dropped.
Fixed a few other bugs

ok A few issues with this release.

I chose the 64 bit version. I'm using widows 7 64 bit with amd graphics. 1280x720 fullscreen mode

Play 1
Got madison completely naked, But when i sent frank to beat up patrick (whom I had follow me into the small back room) he knocked him out and was stuck in fighting stance, Couldn't click on him at all. So i took all the beer lol. Well that triggered the response from frank but he was still stuck. Couldn't progress so i closed.

Play 2, The font overlaps itself in 1280x720 so to make it barley readable so i decided to try 1920x1280, (same as my monitor) set it to "good", this made the game glitch out, the shadows were flashing on and off and i couldn't click on the menu at all. everything control wise was stop motion. I had to force quit with task manager because i couldn't click on the setting cog or inventory parts of the screen. I could click on people and door but not the menu layer.

play 3 Same result on Good graphics the second try

play 4, Same result on simple.

play 5 Same on fantastic

play 6 Went back to 1280x720 and the game loaded up. I decided to try one at a time this time. I tried to get madisons storyline to naked again. So we get to the point where patrick needs to be beat up (this time he is in the living room) Well somehow, patrick won the fight lol. Frank was dead on the floor and i could talk to patrick again. But i could still hear franks fight noises. that grunt lol. But he was out cold. I could grab beer from the kitchen without triggering the frank response but it was useless when trying to progress with dancing girl. I have never gotten past whip it's with her. I had all the alcohol in the house in my inventory and the only available option i had was "I'm the man with the plan.. I just don't know what that plan is yet" I have the liquor!! lol. Well gave up after that. Frank again is the buggy mess here lol.

I think what this game needs is a way to bypass frank and your golden. He is the omniscient catalyst for all the stories and when he has an issue there is no options to progress at all with any girl. even when you get what you need you can't move on with any of the girls without getting frank to trigger that action in one way or another.

Performance wise it was good, i keep the tak manager opened on my 2nd monitor to see CPU and mem usage and they were stable and low even on the fantastic setting.

Thanks for the input! Wow, it seems you pulled out every bug there is on your test! Haha. I haven't experienced most of these issues yet.

I do know about the font issue, and I am going to make the options text a tad smaller and see if that helps.

It seems like your graphics card might be part of the issue with the slow performance on anything above good, but I would recommend playing the game in at least 1920 for the best experience. Are you able to set it to 1920 at the lowest quality setting? Can you tell me what type of card it is? I am subject to Unity's engine, and this game tends to be visually taxing since I keep the models high quality. I may down the line do a lower quality version with very inexpensive models, but there will be a noticeable difference in eye candy (may not matter to some).

I will "stack" the fight so Patrick absolutely cannot win. Lol. It's already pretty stacked, but because it's procedural the way they actually fight, something might have been out of whack.

There is a way to get rid of Frank, you just have to get his usefulness out of him first. I shaped the story a little more linear just so you don't kill him before you get what you need out of him, like some people have been complaining about killing off Patrick too soon and getting stuck. You need to get wine for the dancing girl. There are a couple of places to get it. Because Frank glitched you kind of exploited the alcohol on the table before you were actually supposed to get it, and that's why Stephanie didn't have a reaction to it.

My graphics actually runs the game better on fantastic than any of the other settings. I'm guessing this was more of an incompatible shader issue with amd. Honesly have no idea what the actual cause was. I try to be gentle on my old laptop, i use a cooler pad and the lowset setting i can if i'm iffy on it's capabilities on a game.

Lenovo Z575 (in high performance mode)

CPU---> APU A8-3520M Quad Core 1.6ghz

GPU----> Radeon HD 6620G 512VRAM (can also page vram upto 2.5gb)

RAM----> 8GB ddr3 @1333mhz

OS --->64bit win 7 ultimate

when running the game i have the task managers performance monitor opened on my other monitor. and the performace looks just as good when it was doing the flickering thing as when it doesn't. This is why i think it had something to do with shaders. The game runs excellent and doesn't push the limits on my PC at all in fantastic 1280x720. I just cant get it to run at all in 1920x1280 because the flicker bug. Let me know if you wan't me to test any specific configuration setting on my rig. I'm fine with playing in 720, and the font size adjustment in future updates should fix any issue I have with that resolution anyway =)

I'll mess around with the latest updated .11 version of the game tonight with 1920 and let you know if the issue is persistent. I'll see if i can somehow record the issue with camtasia if it is still doing it.

I actually reduced the font size of the response options already, so let me know if that size works on your screen. If not, I may need to go a little smaller.

the font looks better and whatever was causing the glitch in the last version with the flicker has been resolved. Still a bit of overlap in lower franes. But i still can't figure out what to do with frank. I have gotten most of the girls as close as i can to naked the garage door is opened, rachel is running in circles in the corner of the bathroom lol but i'm done with her anyway. I did get one of the girls stuck in a corner but i cant get to her right side so i can't make her back up back into the bathroom since i cant get her to turn around by talking to her from that angle to make her turn. don't think it matters, but it would be nice to have a way that you can bump them over some. I really like the new menus this time around but am a bit dissapointed you took away the cup from the TV stand. That was my tactic for dancing girl lol. I'll keep looking around for this "Frank trap" mentioned by the other guys.

EDIT: also there is a bug for me. all works well in every version but i can't click on the inventory or the settings menu in 1920x1280 mode. They don't highlight and dont click. I can access inventory with "I" but since there is no hotkey i know of with settings i can acess them to exit game in that resolution.

Edit2 Ok found the trap it worked. Of coure the part i was trying wasn't finished yet. gave her the merlot and i already had all the other alcohol in my inventory but dancing girl wouldn't respond to any of it and i couldn't get her out of the room by talk s and "excuse me" s because she moves too much lol. So it was a stalemate on getting the room empty for phone girl.
All and all much better this time around, looks like you ironed out most of the bugs.
