It's just occurred to me that there something strange about how people treat this game. A lot of people seem to treat it as a dating game and expect that your character and profile reflects who you are in real life. One of the first things people do here is ask questions about who you are, where you live and what you like etc. Then I have found that people become disillusioned when they find out that you not who your character is. I would understand if this was a dating game with a single profile, but we have three character slots with three different profiles. What gives!?

p.s. Can I buy more character slots please?

Maybe I should have posted this on the suggestions site but here it is. Can we have different music theme nights at the club? Like 70s night, 80s night etc?

Ok, so I took advantage of 20% off the price they are offering and subscribed for one month... being the first porn game for the Rift and all.
For science

So, what it's like?
I didn't use any of the chat funcions yet, just tried the AI bot.
First the good stuff.

Graphics look really great in VR and while not technically too advanced, they are still some of the best I saw in erotic game (penetration is very nice).

I walked around a bit an then chose sex on bed. Well... Oculus Rift is quite a magical toy and I can say it really feels like you are an invisible man watching a couple having sex in all their life size glory. As I noticed in other demos with characters, you feel their presence and getting really close to the girl is very sexually arousing- something I have never experienced with 3d xxx games on monitor (I failed to seize what's so good about polygon tits. It all just felt awkward).
In a few sex positions you can actually fake first person view and I can already say it will be quite powerful. I think, coupling this with V-Stroker could be amazing.

I have a mild foot fetish. And while 3d pollygon feet on monitor don't look all that inviting (compared to the real stuff ), Rift does its magic again and, while looking up close, feet look "real" and sexy.

What about the negatives?
First, there's no first person view. FPV is a must as it elevates immersion factor through the roof! Third person should stay as an option (it can be nice, to feel like an invisible voyeur).
Second, HUD is not adapted to VR at all. You must take off Rift to use options, which is a huge immersion breaker.

While having sex, faces are hardly animated. That's one thing you really notice in VR. It would be nice to have some pleasure animations (moaning, lip biting, breasts grabbing, etc.). And sex could be made with a bit more variety- not just continuous loop but with a few special stuff thrown in here and there.

I'd also love to see animated transitions between poses. Right now characters just switch to new positions.
It would be nice to have more options for character design. All characters look more or less the same and it would be cool to have some more variety.

In future, posing a girl yourself (grab her legs, etc. (similar to Xmoon game)) would be a great option.

Anyway, I can already say that sex games in Rift have a really bright future. They can actually make you genuinely horny. Even experience of sex alone, without story and other interactions, can be enough in VR. I can only imagine what it will be like, once the tech and software advance. Mindblowing!

So is 3DXchat worth 20$?
Without the Rift, I would have to say no. If you have Rift, it depends. If you are like me and just want to get a taste of what porn games feel like in Rift, then yes! If you want polished VR experience (HUD, FPV), with lots of options, different environments, interaction possibilities (etc.), then no.

In any case, I really hope, authors will rethink their price point and offer the game for 10$ a month, or as a one time purchase for a bit higher price. They'll get more users and the game like this can only benefit from that.

The game is actually pretty good, only the current moderators aren't.
I have been here for a very long time but lately things are getting rediculous.

There is this certain group of people who feel they are "the" top crowd of the game. They are mean and bully other players and they are under the lead of this vile and spiteful person called Bran. Bran and her "boys" are disliked by almost the entire server and openly prosecute players that enjoy public sex.

Now, this Bran has had ingame sex with some of the devs and has worked her way into their favor while hiding all the bad things she does tot he game.
The devs have no clue and in their infinite wisdom they have made her and two other people from her crew moderators. First we have Raven, look out for her, she is mentally unstable, she can explode on a whim and is completely insane when she does. Then there is this lapdog Wolfy, he is madly in love with Bran and even wants to marry her.

So take Bran (clearly a sociopath) with Raven (emotionally unstable wreck) and Wolfy (biggest brownnose of the Bran clan) and there you go, those are your mods that have to make sure the game is fair ><

Lately Bran has started a campaign to become liked, she is still the vile person she has always been, but now she is using her sociopath charm to draw people over to her side to cement her position of power which she has worked very hard to get. Take away her power and you will see how she really acts.

The game feels more like a prison lately and no matter how fun the conversation in all chat is, whenever a mod, especially Raven walks in everyone goes quiet.
I hope that the devs will start to realize what huge mistake they have made, but then again I guess they are completely oblivious to that since the recently named Wolfy a mod as well. I guess the next one on the list will either be Vigilante or Jayblazablaze.

So yeah, the game is pretty fun, but beware of the pink names... they will ruin it for you.
Just be quiet, don't say anything because they love to show force and intimidation by slapping a warning on you for even placing a comma in the wrong place.
With great power comes great responsability... except in 3DXchat.

I've known Bran for many months now and whe has never, ever done anything that didn't benefit her in some way... I guess it payed off.
If you want to enjoy a sex game, I would like to recommend 3DXchat... but it's very hard to do with management like that.
Let's hope the devs will one day realize that giving a group of assholes the power to enforce their behaviour is not ok.

One last thing which is pretty funny... if the game would have had a neutral mod from the start... bran and her lackeys would have been banned ages ago.
Something to think about...

I can confirm that. I made the same experience on 3DXChat, especially with Bran. My impression of her is that she is really prude and obsessed with power. I try to just ignore here. She has not the right personality to be a moderator on a game like 3DXChat at all. I hope the developers realizes that soon and kick her out to save there investment. At least the developers should think about the rules in here world and make them public for all players... IMHO at the current size of the game no moderators are required anyway.

I can confirm that the invite bug has been fixed which is great news. Also, the updated beach is great and the island and two secluded beaches add new dynamics to the area. Cheers Devs.
