Hey,

I recently bought the game and played through Dark Dreams up to the part where you chain up Samantha for the first time.
Once I was in the room for a moment, the game crashed suddenly. Upon starting up the game, I was not prompted to continue, and it wanted to restart me.
I'm not sure if I'm choosing the right exe? Do I use "Xstoryplayer" or "Xstoryplayer64"?
Also, my save file has the .dats still intact. How do I tell the program to draw from them?

When the XStoryPlayer.exe detects that your system is 64 capable is automatically starts the XStoryPlayer64.exe. So always start the XStoryPlayer.exe.

After a crash the save[x].dat can be corrupted. So best is to edit the 'settings.ini' and remove the [save = ""] line or remove the 'settings.ini' file completely.

Then start at the latest savepoints that works, by selecting it in the stories menu.
