Okay, I'm throwing my hat in this thread. xpadmin has told me my system should be able to get 60fps and I'm tired of troubleshooting this all by myself.

-I can't even detect a secondary display module so I'm almost certain that I'm using my video card for sure.

-I notice that in the task manager that XStoryplayer.exe is using only 50% of my 2 cores' total processing power at any given time. Is there a way to get it use the second core consistently?

-I also notice that XStoryplayer is using about 200MB of real memory and 300MB of virtual memory. Is there a way to only get it to use real memory?

-I've added XStoryplayer's folder to Norton's real time scan exceptions, but did didn't seem to help with speed.

Gotta admit, I have some issues with the game too.
Low FPS when walking around Gym interior in the game. I can run new PC Game titles on high settings with no problems, so I blame these fps issues on your game engine, yet I can be wrong.
Also, I am having problems with the game crashing to desktop. Last time it happened was when I finished my tasks in the Gym and went co City overview or when Latisha was about to let me unbutton her. This crashing appears to be less persistent when I set my video mode to DirectX, though DirectX mode nets me less FPS.
Thanks for any future assistance

Whats your Graphics Card memory Speed?
GT640 is more a low budget card and could be your bottleneck.

Got access to something more powerful?

Tried setting everything on performance in you Graphics card software?
