| Post subject: | Remove Monica's shoes?! |
Hi. Could someone please tell me how to remove Monica's shoes or point me to where I need to look so I can create a new entry in the "Heels" menu to "Disable" shoes?  OK, it's not perfect but at least I got as far as "pack_dungeon\init\stories\dungeon\chars\monica\init.dat" setting "show_shoes = " to "0". Obviously her model is rigged for heels so she's standing on her tiptoes. Has a nice touch though.

Well, the difference with Saiko is that she's not wearing heels. |

Afaik, Monica's shoes are part of her body model (probably because they are high heels and Monica's feet are in a special position for them) So I don't think they are easily removable. |

riftporn wrote: Afaik, Monica's shoes are part of her body model (probably because they are high heels and Monica's feet are in a special position for them) So I don't think they are easily removable. yes, they are. go to pack\[PACKNAME]\init\stories\[STORYNAME]chars\monica and open init.dat there are strings like "show_shoes = true/false" so you can change it (same for glasses, clothtype and socks) IDK in what cases the game reads those variables, atleast that works in some scenes in tentacle dreams storymode. btw thats the most unobvious thing in editing - sometimes the game looks at one file to read variable, sometimes in the other. Great abilities to experiment tho. |
