For completeness a tutorial has been added to the wiki on how to add new animations/poses to a character.

It can be found here:

Getting this error when trying to convert with a new pose.
Using Maya 2014, did like the wiki said.
Any ideas xpadmin ?

*EDIT*

When I load the file in Maya it looks like this on frame 11500
Image

But if I step a frame in either direction she has the same pose, but orientation is wrong.
I can't seem to get it to stick.

Please redownload the resource pack again (delete local copy first). It should be fixed now.

In each keyframe a pose or animation is stored.

Because Maya interpolates between keyframes it can give rise to these body rotations between the keyframes.
Because only the keyframe states are used in XSP that does not matter.

Now filemaker just terminated, trace log shows this error:

ERROR: Verify failed in file '.\gcmod\object\char_object\gcmod_char_morph_obj.cpp', line 897: characterShape Char.morph.pose[wink].elem[0] vertex count 10263 != 10239

Make sure you have downloaded latest patch. Re-download it and reinstall it (delete local copy first).

That fixed it :)

But for some reason the game crashes.
ERROR: GAMESTATE open failed: file 'init/stories/dungeon/init_saiko.dat' cannot be loaded: unknown token

Please check the changes you have made to the files. The error must be a typo you have made of some sort.

Yeah, those damn curly brackets, didn't pay attention to the closing one around all the poses in the char_base.dat file :)

Have to go back and fix the pose, somehow she gained the ability to fly :)
