Hi guys (well most of us are guys i guess ).
I just bought the game one day ago, and I'm kinda excited. Actually, I more or less, did stumbled upon this game by "accident", just googling for Oculus Rift in common (not even for adult content).

What really sets xstoryplayer apart from all the other adult games out there is the physic engine, which also was the reason for me to pay the actually very little price. Alot popular Games try to do that, like Skyrims adult modding Community (Boob physics, hair physics and so on), but they still lacking alot features this engine has.

I see that the game has a small team developing it, but i dont understand why the game is not pushed towards being more popular. As i said at the beginning, i found the game by pure accident. And even after an precise search for the game itself, there are only a few other websites like hongfire for instance, where this game was talked about.

I modded alot of games in the past ( not developing, just using mods others did), and there are great modding sites, like nexusmods ( that huuuuuge skyrim mod community though ) or the adult counterpart loverslab.

I think someone should make topics on that site http://www.loverslab.com/forum/25-adult-gaming/ (I hope links are allowed) and also other sites fitting the content (hongfire etc etc...).

xmoonproductions actually tries to push the modding community with the Modchallenge and the wiki entries, but the problem is, that only the few members of this small community knew about that, so the target group who can contribute is very small in the first place.

Its just my honest opinion that the game lacks popularity, and that is the first problem which needs to be adressed. ( The bigger the community the bigger the contributions ( swarm intelligence ).

Like e.g. clips on porntube and other advertising.

Also feel free to spread the word yourself, it is better when it comes from a fan than by us.

If you can handle to make the game/the engine very powerful, the community will grow.
Its like on youtube channels, the first 1000 subscribers will take a long time to get. The next thousand maybe will only take half of that time when the quality is given, and so on , mostly because word of mouth.

Also to push the modding community seems like a very wise choice, because it adds a long lifespan to a game. No one would play games like skyrim etc. over 4 years after release on a regular base, if the modding community wouldn't exist.

Hope 3.1 is going to be out soon .

yes you are right. this topic exists there, but did you read it? most people writing there aren't that pleased with the game in its current state, namely "bad controls" and "bugs". Not exactly the best promotion ^^.

But to some extend i have to agree, the game still has it's flaws, but I also see the potential.

Nah. With WoW you have people that whine either about the nerfs or the buffs, or both. The criticism on that site of XSP is the sort of criticism levied at indie games - "It's not a AAA title." "It doesn't measure up to AAA standards." "It looks like it was made by a handful of people." Those people do not want an indie game and there's no point in trying to get their support. They are blind to the potential.

Yes I've red it but as burning said they can't see the potential in this engine. I mean, they played it at beta stage.
I think the promotion could be made once the 3.1 is out and the modding tools will be fully explained on the wiki etc.

People that are currently modding it are using many ways to achieve their will. With 3.1 and future versions we will be able to write stories, customize girls , dude, add objects etc. a lot more easier (I think).
At this moment the promotion will be useful.

Just remember to buy it so they can work more on the game and less on there other work
