I'm confused, first there is an indication that the release could be a matter of days away, then there are others that point the release to a few weeks from now :O

The only indication with any relation to the actual people making it has been 'in good time before the end of the year' or somesuch. I read that as a week or two before. any earlier would be 'before xmas'.

He said "before the end of the year" weeks ago. Just a couple of days ago he said "Hopefully only a few more days". Not that confusing :D It just means he's more confident on a release date now than he was a couple weeks ago.

There's always the chance for delay, but xpa is a smart guy, I don't think he'd get our hopes up for nothing. My bet is we get it before Monday.

would seem to me our best bet would be to set a deadline it could not possibly pass beyond. anything earlier would then be a pleasant surprise. :)
