the different stories need engine's features to be built.
The 3.0 added female sex interactions, better graphics, modeling, modding features etc.

They need to develop, program, add new features to allow scripting the new stories.
I know you want the 4.0 stories, but as it's scripted, it cannot be released like this. It's not just about the modeling objects, models etc. But they need these features to allow us to play it correctly.
The porn alien is not a turn on for me as well but the new features, the community growing, the modelers /scripters releasing new stories are very encouraging for the new version.
Please be patient, but I think your post is legitimate as well.

Just because you don't like the story doesn't mean that there's no story. I happen to love it, which was a pleasant surprise, and I'm dying to find out how it ends.
As for 4.0, give them a chance to finish the job here so they can focus on that new story instead of fix all the problems with the engine at the same time.

Any news on an ETA? Last I heard was around the end of this month, but I have no idea if that's still realistic since that was said back in April.

the ETA is end of july 2015. (xpadmin said July, I think it would be honest and careful to aim for the end rather the begin of July)

As a customer, I'd like to say thank you for your development.

Of the erotic games out there, this was a diamond in the ruff for me. So many Anime games out there which just isn't my taste, surprisingly I didn't want to immediately vomit when I saw the tentacle monster in the latest story. But that's just me, I prefer my sexual fantasies with good ol human women, the parts I enjoy the most are the suspense, eroticism, and of course the interactions. Either way the way you've used maya modelling tools and programming to create this product are definitely unique, and make this stand out way above anything I've seen yet (referring to Thrixx products etc).

I'm looking forward to any development released at all, and just want you to know I'm grateful for your work. My top list that I'm looking forward to seeing would be the upgrade from 2.0 scenarios to 3/4.0 scenarios. I still launch 2.0 from time to time simply because the stories are enjoyable and still wish I could play them in 3.0.

As a developer, I'd say don't get burnt out trying to do too much. Stick to the dream design you believe in about XStoryPlayer and don't cut any corners just to get a product out. I'd much rather wait for a well polished release than urge you guys to push something out the door.

Our ideal game would be the XM University, in which multiple story lines interact and the scene is a lot larger.
Also we want to improve the girls both in visuals and animation.
